AREA SPORTS BRIEF: Crescent girls basketball team struggles in second half

JOYCE — The Crescent girls basketball team struggled in the second half against Shoreline Christian, losing Saturday 43-25.

The Loggers had a 19-16 lead going into halftime after a good start to the game.

“After a good battle in the first halfmthe Loggers ran out of gas in the second half,” said coach Jonathan Whitehead.
