Supporting Australian beauty brands isn’t tough at the best of times — our fellow country men and women produce a hoard of celebrity-approved exports after all.

But this April, we’re even more inclined to offer our hard-earned dollars up in exchange for beauty products, because Ultra Violette is offering to match customer donations all month long.

The skin care brand has partnered with Australian and female-founded not-for-profit ‘Full Stop Australia‘, who are on a mission to end sexual, domestic and family violence in Australia.

Ultra Violette has already donated $10,000 to the charity, but for the month of April the brand is also promising to match customer donations, which they can pledge when making purchases on-site. The partnership is hoping to raise an additional $25,000 for the important cause, which will then be used to support 500 trauma specialist counselling sessions for those impacted by sexual, domestic and family violence.

“As a fellow female-founded business, we hold the deepest respect for what the incredible team at Full Stop do, which is why we are honoured to work with them on this important cause that’s very close to our hearts,” says Ava Matthews, Co-founder of Ultra Violette. “Together we hope to spread greater awareness about the critical resources that they provide, as well as support their mission to put a full stop to violence.”

“Full Stop’s services offer free, 24/7 trauma-specialist support from the first call, to both victim-survivors, and the professionals and loved ones supporting them,” says Ultra Violette Co-founder, Bec Jefferd. “We want to ensure that in a national crisis, we can help to future-proof this important resource so that these services can continue to support the people who need it.”
