Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch The Original
from $8.72 at Amazon Australia
“Okay so I recently got to trial the Mighty Patch but somehow my teens missed the memo where I said leave Mums products alone for Mum to use and between three boys and two girls I have only been left a few. So for my short experience it did what it said to do. First applied the spot to the blemish and left it on overnight, peeling off the next morning and the blemish had changed dramatically, the blemish had decreased in size and the gunk inside was gone leaving me with clearer and perfect skin. According to the teenagers in my house I have been ordered to go to the shops and buy them more. It’s a winner winner in this household.” — mum26, beautyheaven member

Eau Thermale Avène Thermal Spring Water
from $11.99 at Chemist Warehouse
“I’ve been using this Thermal Spring Water for quite some time and I love how refreshing it makes my skin feel, especially during those hot, sticky summer days. The mist is so fine and only a short spritz or two is needed to cover my face. I use this spray on my face after showering each day and before applying my skincare products, and I find it fabulous for cooling down my face after a workout.” — onlyoni, beautyheaven member

1000HOUR® 3-in-1 Brow Pencil
from $14.99 at Priceline
“Oh my gosh these brow products are just getting better and better these days and this one really does cover all bases — there is a clear, fine spoolie brush at one end that automatically gets coated in a clear fixing gel every time it gets removed from the canister. Then there is the fine triangle end that is like a colour pencil but in a good shape for doing brows and then there is the middle section which has a sort of pull out spongey-powder blotter tip that would be good for filling sparse areas with a natural bit of powdery colour. I haven’t used that bit yet except for on my hand just to see what it was like but yes I will likely use this in the future. I love the very fine spoolie as it straightens out my brows after I’ve added some colour from the triangle-pencil end. The spoolie makes everything look natural and tamed and neat. This is all I will need when travelling.” — clearcrystalwater, beautyheaven member

Burt’s Bees Kiwi Melon Moisturising Lip Balm
from $6.99 at Priceline
“I prefer a solid balm for during the day and dislike anything I have to dip my fingers into so this is perfect. It’s rare a solid balm like this also gives a decent amount of hydration and lasts on my lips, but I’ve found most of the Burt’s Bees range does. This flavour in particular is quite cooling on the lips in a refreshing way and the smell is heavenly. Lipstick wears nicely over the top and the packaging is solid and hygienic. These are a great alternative if classic Chap stick has you a little bored and you want to try something different.” — The Loved Life Blog, beautyheaven member

Real Techniques Miracle Concealer Sponge
from $18.99 at Priceline
“This sponge is smaller than the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, but perfectly shaped for the under-eye area and targeted concealing. The tapered end fits right into the corners of the eyes and nose, while the flat side is ideal for blending under-eye concealer without tugging. What really stood out to me is how soft this sponge is, even softer than the original. That softer texture makes it incredibly gentle on delicate areas like the under eyes, which is exactly what you want to avoid creasing or disturbing your base. When damp, it becomes even more plush and bouncy, and it blends product effortlessly without absorbing too much. I have used it with both liquid and cream concealers, and it delivers a smooth, natural finish every time. It diffuses the product just enough for a seamless look, but you can still build up coverage without it looking heavy or patchy.” — Ethelinde, beautyheaven member

Pantene Pro-V Hyaluron Daily Intensive Conditioner
from $7.69 at Chemist Warehouse
“This conditioner is so thick and creamy in its consistency! It is white in appearance and spreads well. It is very rich and drenching in moisture. It smells absolutely amazing and would probably be my favourite conditioner at the moment! I purchased this for my dry, bleach blonde hair and it really did leave my hair super soft and luscious! I used it after the matching shampoo and they work like a dream! Even my daughter has started using it for her healthy curly hair and her curls have never looked so shiny! This conditioner definitely lives up to its promise and I will continue to use it. I’d recommend this for anyone who wants beautifully scented, shiny, healthy hair.” — Lovemyfourkidsforever, beautyheaven member

Hada Labo Moisturising Facial Sheet Mask
from $5.95 at Priceline
“The Hada Labo Moisturising Facial Sheet Mask is a great boost of hydration and leaves my skin feeling plump and refreshed. The serum is lightweight, absorbs well, and gives an instant healthy glow. I like that it brightens without feeling harsh, and it’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin. The sheet fits fairly well and stays in place, though it’s a little slippery at first. I took off one star only because it feels slightly sticky for a while after use, but overall it’s a lovely self-care treat for hydrated, radiant skin.” — Daniatgv, beautyheaven member

Natio Glide On Eyeshadow Stick
from $9.06 at Priceline
“The glide on stick makes the eye shadow really easy to apply to [my] eye lids, and I get a nice even application of colour. There’s no messy use of fingers or even brushes to apply… the colours ‘Dusk’ and ‘Afterglow’ are subtle, but pack a punch. I love being able to wear these colours from day-to-night; it doesn’t clump on your eyelids like other eye shadows can, and it lasts a really long time.” — tara25, beautyheaven member

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Shimmer Radiance Body Oil
from $9.99 at Chemist Warehouse
“Palmers cocoa butter body oil has been a long term staple for what feels like decades. I love using the original just after a shower or in summer. Especially if that shower when you get home from the beach all the sand is off you and you want to nourish your skin. So now the new version with shimmer is lovely addition. So beautiful to highlight the skin and make your skin feel flawless. Great for a night out or special occasion or just if you like to sparkle every day. It absorbs well into the skin. The same as original leaving you feeling nourished but with added glow shimmer. What’s great is it’s not too over the top too.” — Charla, beautyheaven member

“This product is simply a blessing for my skin; it is so much more moisturising than any other night cream I have tried. I am recommending this to my daughter as she has a problem skin and needs a much better product than she is currently using. My skin is much softer and does not have a heavy feeling. I look forward to applying this every night. The antioxidants and vitamin E is a bonus. recommend for all skin types and will definitely keep purchasing this product. What’s your favourite budget-friendly beauty product?
You don’t have to be a teenager to use the Pimple Patches. I have been buying them for myself at Chemist Warehouse. They are terrific.
The Avene Thermal water spray is a game changer especially on a very hot day!
I need to look at that !
The Burt’s Bees Kiwi Melon Moisturising Lip Balm look nice. Burts Bees are always coming up with new flavours. Nice.
Yes I agree =MMM!!
I love that keep coming up with new flavours too!
I can attest that the Palmer’s Shimmer body oil is fantastic.
My favourite budget friendly beauty product at present is Essence Bright Eyes.
Essense products are amazing! Cheap, but high-quality & all made in EU.
I am a big fan of Sukin products, very affordable and good quality.
a kiwi melon lip balm sounds lovely
Yes, I was thinking that too. I have tried a lot of the different flavours, but not the kiwi melon.
A recent discovery was The KIND Collective Hero Brow Gel 2-in-1 Colour And Treatment, which is cheap, & Aussie-made! I intend to try more of their products, which are available at Priceline.
Sounds good !!
Some nice products here and good to see an old favourite Nivea
I am interested in the 1000 hour 3-in-1 Brow Pencil. I am always on the lookout for a good brow pencil.

I have never used the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula original oil but keen to try both now.
I like the look of the Natio Glide On Eyeshadow Stick
Yes I think so too! I have an old Avon product I still use but this could be a more locally available one.
The 3 in1 brow pencil sounds really interesting !
I have tried a lot of these products and they are all very good. The Nivea night cream is a bargain.
I love my garnier sheet masks.
Yes they are really good !
Me too! Their Cryo mask is my latest fave!
A few to test out there.
none of these would break the bank which is great!
The Natio eyeshadow sticks look nice!
Nivea Night Cream. It always reminds me of my Mum and the scent takes me back to my childhood.
Same! Back in the day, it was Mum’s only skincare item!
Nivea hydrating cream is a good one
I’m a big fan of Hada Labo
I do believe they are quite new to the market. Perhaps I am wrong??
Ahh yes some great one’s there! I think the Natio Eye one looks like something great to have for a quick application.
Burts Bees comes up with many different fruity flavours
I would love to try Natio Glide On Eyeshadow Stick.
