Luxe Faux Mink Lashes – Cameo

I bought Eylure Luxe Faux Mink Lashes – Cameo, along with a few other Eylure lashes, from the Beautyheaven Rewards Room using my membership points. These lashes have a soft, fine texture that resembles natural lashes, but their outer edges are so long (approximately 14mm!) that it's obvious I'm wearing falsies. I have other ¾ lashes that are easier to apply than these fiddly Cameo lashes: the bands resist holding their curved shape - both ends tend to poke up; plus, it's difficult to conceal their inner edges along my lash line - thick black eyeliner is a must! These luxe lashes are supposed to last for ten wears, which is double that of other Eylure lashes, & yet the pack only supplies the usual amount of adhesive. The included 1mL bottle of glue is latex-free & vegan-friendly & has a PAO of 6M. (Open jar symbol shows PAO: Period After Opening product should last, in months, M.) It applies blue-white, so I can see any missed spots, & dries clear: I slather it on thickly, & frequently need to reposition the lashes to make both eyes even, so I doubt I'll get five wears from this one tiny bottle, let alone ten.  Lashes made in Indonesia, adhesive made in Korea.  ADHESIVE INGREDIENTS: Acrylates/ Ethylhexyl Acrylate Copolymer,  Aqua (Water, Eau), Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

I recently received the Luxe Faux Mink eyelashes as part of my Rewards Room favourites prize pack. Thank you Beautyheaven. The first thing I noticed that there is a lot of packaging but it is recyclable. The eyelashes are very fake looking and very long. The adhesive glue is included. It was very hard to use the adhesive, wait the required time and fit the eyelashes. Just felt they were a bit frustrating. I would not buy these nor try to use them again. Not for me but I can see that it might suit others. The back of the packaging shows that it is reusable for 10 wears (sounds good) and has a 18 hour hold, which is good. While I do think these look nice in the packet, I had found these a little more tricky to use in a look because it's difficult to make them look seamless with the rest of your natural lashes. I personally prefer the 3/4 lashes from the chloe morello range because they're more natural and fit perfectly with your natural lashes.
