ColorStay Matte Lite Crayon™

I was super excited to try this as this is my first lip crayon. I got this from my recent rewards room order. I received 002 clear the air shade. This lip crayon is super pretty you can use them as a lip liner or lipstick on its own and you can mix different colours to have fun with it. It has a sharpener on the other end when you need to sharpen. It is super convenient to use packaging looks nice, travel friendly. This lip crayon has nice smell but not overpowering. It feels very creamy when I blend it out. It glides on smoothly on my lips and feels nothing on my lips. I found this is long lasting. Overall very good matt lipstick option. Highly recommend.

I was quite surprised that the ColorStay Matte Lite Crayon applied so smoothly with more of a satin matte finish rather than a dry matte finish which I’ve come to expect from a matte lipstick. I’ve been using the shade Take Flight (004) which I would describe as a rose pink. The texture of the crayon is soft and creamy and makes my lips feel really hydrated and nourished and it is totally comfortable to wear. The colour is quite pigmented and lasts for quite some time. I’ve also used the crayon as a blush which gives a gorgeous splash of colour to my cheeks and lifts my skin. The attached sharpener is an added bonus and appreciated because I can never find a sharpener when needed.

I have always loved a good lipstick and keep several on the go however this style of lipstick is certainly a new style for me.When I initially tried the crayon I felt "oh No it's too soft" but then I got used to it and it is so easy to apply. I still like to use my pencil lip liner however as the top of the crayon is not sharp enough for the edges.This is the first lipstick that the colour definitely lasts which is a huge plus. It does absorb into my lips and is very matte but overall I am very happy with the product.Would I change over completely probably not but will I buy again ? Yes .

I love this glamorous looking colour (I have it in Clear The Air) and it's just so flattering on and it's matte as well which really seems to suit me. Revlon have the knack for making addictive and glamorous shades and I love that about this lip colour. It is not a heavy lipstick but instead a light lip crayon product that is so buttery and smooth to apply. Once applied it stays snuggly in place so well that it seems waterproof even. Clear The Air is a pure matte formula and it does'nt bleed at all - perfect for my lips. It has no sparkle or glitter or sheen. It does not feel drying on the lips at all. There is a lovely chiseled shape to the crayon and to keep it that way is the sharpener on the end of the crayon canister!! The actual crayon is a wind-up one that can also be wound down again. The cap is secure and clicks on well to make sure there are no damaging accidents to the soft and buttery crayon. There is a beautiful vanilla like scent to the product. I love this, I feel so glam with this on. By the looks of it, this product has a colour range with a colour that would suit everyone. I'm keen to try the Tread Lightly colour too but I am so in love with this Clear The Air for me.

The Revlon Colourstay Matte Lite Crayon is extremely easy and quick to apply. The crayon which is retractable glides over your lips and gave me a smooth even coverage on my lips, without feeling heavy. Infused with mango seed oil, it did not dry my lips at all. I liked the matte finish, however for a different look, I tried applying lip gloss over the top, which looked good as well. I didn't experience any bleeding or smudging of colour, which I normally do when using traditional lipstick formulas. I also found that one application of this product stayed on my lips considerably longer than most lip products. I trialled the colour "Take Flight", which suited my colouring perfectly. I would describe the shade as a muted rose, a great natural looking lip colour for everyday wear. For reference my complexion is fair and my hair is currently a rose gold brown. I would recommend this product, and with 12 different shades available you should be able to find a shade to suit.
