Dramatic Lashes No. 149

I bought Eylure Dramatic Lashes No. 149, along with a few other Eylure lashes, from the Beautyheaven Rewards Room using my membership points. I was dubious about ordering these due to their poor reviews, but these are my favourites among the lashes I ordered.  I love the thick band that deterred the previous reviewers. I initially applied them over my usual black winged liner, but the thickness of the band made eyeliner unnecessary. These densely packed lashes are definitely dramatic, but at 13mm at their maximum length, they're not too daunting to wear. Previous reviewers have commented on the obvious fake look of these lashes, but with my fair complexion & dark hair, I can pull off stark black liquid eyeliner, so these lashes suit my colouring well. The included 1mL bottle of glue is latex-free & vegan-friendly & has a PAO of 6M. (Open jar symbol shows PAO: Period After Opening product should last, in months, M.) It applies blue-white, so I can see any missed spots, & dries clear: I slather it on thickly, so I doubt I'll get five wears from this one tiny bottle.  Lashes made in Indonesia, adhesive made in Korea.  ADHESIVE INGREDIENTS: Acrylates/ Ethylhexyl Acrylate Copolymer,  Aqua (Water, Eau), Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Was excited to get these but then totally disappointed when I received them. In the packaging the looked very soft and lush and just the right fit but it's a completely different story when you open them. They turned out to be short - too short for the eye area (so ignore anyone that tells you test the shape against your eye as you made need to cut the length). They may have fit my cat's eyes purrfectly. Secondly they are like plastic and don't feel soft at all - a very thick plastic band strip and even the lashes feel like plastic. I wasted my Rewards room points on these thinking they were perfect (I picked up 2 packs and both were the same). I would recommend either Ardell or even Kiss lashes over these any day.

Not great lashes, something I've found is common with all eylure lashes. The lash band is quite thick and obvious, and the lashes themselves look very thick and plasticy. If you are looking for lashes similar in price, ardell lashes are definitley the best cheaper lashes I have ever tried. Ardell lashes have very thin lash bands compared to these, which have very thick black bands that almost feel like hard plastic so are not comfortable at all to wear. Overall not worth it, even for the low price.
