Color & Soin Mask

I bought a full-sized 200mL tube of Color & Soin Hair Mask from the Beautyheaven Rewards Room using my membership points. This off-white to palest apricot mask has a floral perfume that I'd describe as classy, but may not be to all tastes, & its consistency is so thick that it's difficult to dispense the required amount from the small hole within the flip-top lid. The rich cream spreads through my mid-lengths & ends easily, then I allow it to act on my hair for at least 3 minutes, as directed, before rinsing. It leaves my hair much more manageable & easier to detangle, which is expected for any hair mask, but my hair doesn't look any shinier than usual. While this is a lovely mask, its performance is merely average: I had higher expectations due to the price. Made in France. PAO 12M. This masque sounds great so I was looking forward to it's results in my long hair. Love that it uses organic ingredients. The off white creme inside had a very weak smell. I have used this product multiple times and my hair just doesn't seem nourished or overly shiny even though that is what the product promises I have also found my hair harder instead of easier to brush than I thought it would be from using this even though it claims to ease detangle. I feel like the product left my hair worse off and did nothing for it and there is nothing 'wow' for me about this product. I really wanted to like this product but it is a big no from me.

This colour mask is targeted for coloured hair, which is what I have. The formula contains good natural ingredients like aloe, shea butter, pomegranate and hibiscus extracts, macadamia oil etc. There are no silicones. It is to be used after shampoo and rinse like a conditioner, but the instructions say to leave on for 3 minutes. The product comes in a 200ml squeeze tube. It is quite thick out of the tube, and a bit stiff, so it's not the easiest to spread out. But once it sits for a minute or two on wet hair, it seems to melt in better. I found that it's best to detangle hair after it has softened a little, to minimise tugging and fallout. I got this Color and Soin mask for coloured hair as part of the rewards room using my points. I like the scent in this mask for coloured hair. It contains organic extracts of hibiscus, pomegranate organic macadamia oil and organic shea butter. Unfortunately, this mask didn’t tame my fly away here. I like a L’Oreal mask and think I shall return to that brand.

I love trying out brands I’ve never heard of before, and I was especially keen on trying this one because a quick google search told me they’re a favourite in France! I’ve been very unkind on my hair with a combination of box bleach and box dye and am now dealing with the consequences of having stick dry ends. While I think the only cure is a haircut, this hair mask is the perfect Band-Aid until I work up the courage to do so! The texture of this mask is creamy and not too heavy and it leaves my hair noticeably shinier and easier to detangle.

The Color & Soin Mask for coloured hair is a hair conditioner that is left on for three minutes, before being rinsed off. It leaves the hair soft, detangled and manageable. Besides being dermatologically tested, I love that it is both cruelty free and vegan, although this is not mentioned on the packaging, only the website. It is an extra plus that 99.2% of ingredients are of natural origin, including 19.1% from organic farming. In addition, it has eco-friendly packaging, with the tube made from recycled materials.
