Along with two new coffee outlets, other ostensible necessities are coming to Sequim soon.
Check into Cash, a quick-money store; Miyako, a takeout teriyaki shop; Go Wireless, a cellular phone store; and Supercuts will move into the Sequim Village Marketplace this summer, said leasing agent Jill Oliveri.
She’s with First Western Properties, the Kirkland firm that is also helping to bring Starbucks and Petco — both in late July — to the West Washington Street shopping center anchored by The Home Depot.
“We’ve been talking with a fast-food restaurant, with a drive-through and another sit-down restaurant,” Oliveri added.
No leases are yet signed, so she couldn’t elaborate, except to say that the restaurant is similar to The Olive Garden.
“But it’s not them,” she said.
And to lay rumors to rest: No Trader Joe’s is in Sequim’s near-future either, added Oliveri.
Off the city’s other U.S. 101 exit, the Hair Specifics salon is already open at 521 S. Sequim Ave., where Hurricane Coffee Express will be serving drinks and food later in June.
A real estate office will move into the other storefront, said Kyla Becker, owner of the building and of both Hurricane Coffee outlets.
