CLALLAM BAY — Certified Physician Assistant Tom Hughes, Clallam Bay Medical Clinic director for more than four years, is being recalled to active duty with the U.S. Naval Reserve.
“We do not intend to close the clinic,” Forks Community Hospital District Administrator Jan Hay said Wednesday. The district operates the clinic at 74 Bogachiel Way, Clallam Bay.
Hughes, a Naval Reserve hospital corpsman first class, serves with Portland, Ore.-based Inshore Boat Unit No. 13, Naval Reserve spokesman Carlos Braxton said. All other details of Hughes’ service are classified.
