SEQUIM — Due to misty weather Sunday, Dream Catcher Balloon tethered balloon rides for veterans have been postponed to 11 a.m. today.
The rides will be offered at Avamere Olympic Rehab, 1000 S. Fifth Ave., Sequim.
Veterans will ride for free.
The general public will be asked to pay a $15 donation for rides.
Crystal Stout said Sunday that after checking the weather, she determined today would be better.
“For us to be able to give back gives us a lot of joy,” she said, “especially when we know we can get someone in a wheelchair, someone with a bucket list … a chance to have some joy in the air.”
The Dream Catcher hot-air balloon lifts an ADA-compliant basket.

The balloon is built with a five-point harness to help give free rides on a line of up to 25 feet to veterans, their family and friends.
