PORT TOWNSEND — Supporters of a $1.5 million school district technology levy will leave no stone unturned in their effort to get voters out Tuesday.
They’re hoping the measure will gain several percentage points from its Feb. 6 showing, when it failed with just 56.37 percent of the vote — 3.63 percent short of the required 60 percent supermajority.
More than half of the mail-in ballots issued for the Port Townsend School District’s technology levy have already been returned. But levy organizers Jane Ansley and Bill Kush said they’ll keep calling voters until Tuesday’s 8 p.m. deadline to encourage them to return their ballots.
“We’ll be getting at them, making sure they’re reminded to vote,” Ansley said.
