PORT ANGELES — The Port of Port Angeles commissioners will conduct a special meeting on COVID-19 at 9 a.m. today, Wednesday, March 18.
Commissioners will discuss the port’s donation of personal protection equipment for health care workers and emergency responders during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and employee leave policies for virus-related absences while schools are closed, commission President Steven Burke said Tuesday.
The equipment included items such as masks and gloves.
The special session will be at the port administrative offices’ meeting room at 338 W. First St. in Port Angeles.
It will include at 20-minute comment period.
