PORT ANGELES — The School Board decided Monday to interview three consulting firms — the first step in its search for a new superintendent.
Interviews during the last 10 days of May will help the board find a consultant to develop and narrow a field of applicants interested in replacing Superintendent George Woodruff at the helm of the Port Angeles School District.
Woodruff, 56, plans to retire at the end of the school year to spend more time with his family.
