PORT ANGELES — The first-ever Olympic Medical Center 10K is drawing a crowd.
Two hundred runners and walkers had signed up for the 10-kilometer and 5-kilometer races by Thursday afternoon.
“Just for the Health of It”‘ is the slogan of the event, scheduled for a 10 a.m. start on Sunday at the City Pier.
The course for the two races runs along the waterfront to Ediz Hook and back to the pier.
Registration fee now through race day is $20. It is free for hospital employees. Pick up registration forms at the hospital or register on-line at www.olympicmedical.org.
