PORT ANGELES — Police are searching for a man who grabbed a woman’s purse Monday afternoon in the parking lot of Albertson’s Food & Drug.
The Port Angeles woman, 49, was loading groceries into her vehicle at about 4:45 p.m. when a man, who had been loitering in the parking lot of the store at 114 E. Lauridsen Blvd., rushed toward the woman and snatched her purse from her shopping cart, Port Angeles police Sgt. Erick Zappey said.
The purse contained about $100 cash, he said.
