PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Chamber’s new Business Recovery Committee will meet online at 11 a.m. Wednesday and is seeking input from residents.
The committee was formed to plan for post-disaster programs and activities aimed at reinvigorating the local economy once the main impact of the COVID-19 disaster has passed.
“We have also been working closely with the Clallam County Economic Development Corporation, local government representatives, and other business support resources and agencies to help mitigate the current damages being caused by COVID-19, and to support businesses as much as possible through these challenging days,” the chamber said in an email.
The committee however is developing plans for several weeks from now, “with their sights on the time period when our community begins to return to the more positive track we were on prior to COVID-19.”
