The Clallam County Historical Society is sponsoring an antique appraisal fair Saturday at the Vern Burton Community Center in Port Angeles.
Anyone wondering about the value of a family heirloom or garage sale item can bring their items to the center at 308 E. Fourth St. to have experts determine how much they are worth.
Lamps, books, jewelry and other “treasures” could be worth hundreds of dollars, appraisal fair organizers said.
Having an item appraised will also help fund the restoration of the historical society’s new home.
Tickets cost $12 for each item.
They may be purchased at the Historical Society office in the Lincoln School complex, 933 W. Ninth St., fair planner Virginia Fitzpatrick said.
