PHOTO: Lift and a tuck: Port Townsend hotel gets a makeover

PORT TOWNSEND — The Belmont, a hotel at 925 Water St. in Port Townsend, is undergoing a complete makeover inside and out. Scaffolding will be in place until June while workers complete a major renovation to the historic waterfront hotel on both the street and water sides of the building. The interior has been updated as well. The property’s new owners plan a grand re-opening sometime in early June when the project is scheduled to be completed.
