A Port Townsend man was formally charged with first-degree murder Thursday for killing a woman in a remote area south of Blyn.
Jimmie Homer Shreve, 51, of Hancock Street, remains in the Clallam County jail on $250,000 bail for allegedly shooting Elizabeth “Beth” MacNeille in the head.
Shreve confessed to shooting the 54-year-old MacNeille, who was in the advanced stages of multiple sclerosis, court records show.
The confession was recorded by Port Townsend police.
