PORT ANGELES — The Peninsula Daily News will open its new office on Thursday.
The building, at 1102 E. First St. in Port Angeles, is just west of Angeles Furniture.
“This move marks a pivotal moment in our commitment to Port Angeles and the Olympic Peninsula,” said Eran Kennedy, the publisher of the Peninsula Daily News, Sequim Gazette and Forks Forum. “After decades of service in our previous building, this new, more modern space allows us to operate more efficiently, reinvesting resources directly into local journalism.”
Kennedy said it’s a fresh start that will keep the newspaper deeply rooted in the community.
“Although we have a change of address, our dedication to being the trusted local news source remains strong,” she said. “We’ve been a part of this community’s story for over a century, chronicling everything from triumphs to challenges. This new office symbolizes our belief in the future of the Olympic Peninsula and our mission to provide in-depth, fact-based reporting that keeps our neighbors informed and connected.”
