PA town hall slated
PORT ANGELES — U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer will hold a town hall meeting at Peninsula College on Wednesday as part of a series of gatherings on college campuses in the state’s sixth Congressional District.
Interested students and community members can RSVP for the 5 p.m. meeting at the college’s Little Theater, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd. To RSVP, visit Kilmer’s Facebook page and select “Events.”
An RSVP is not required but is suggested in order to stay up to date on time and location changes, event organizers said.
Kilmer is holding the meetings to hear how students might be affected by a cut of $4 billion in annual funding for student aid and changes to how the government loans money to students proposed in President Donald Trump’s budget, according to the press release announcing the town halls.
Kilmer’s meeting in Port Angeles is one of three stops scheduled with events also slated at the University of Washington in Tacoma on Tuesday and Olympic College in Bremerton on Thursday.
Open equine vet clinic
SEQUIM — The Olympic Peninsula Equine Network’s open equine vet clinic has been set for Saturday, April 14.
The public is invited to attend the 10 a.m. clinic at the equine network, 251 Roupe Road.

Builder’s surplus
PORT ANGELES — The North Peninsula Builder’s Association’s annual builder’s surplus sale has been set for Saturday, April 14.
The sale will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St.
A selection of new and used building materials, home improvement and gardening supplies, as well as discounted service certificates for landscaping materials will be available.

Unity speaker set for Sunday
PORT ANGELES — Unity in the Olympics’ 10:30 a.m. Sunday service speaker will be the Rev. Donna Little.
Her lesson at the church at 2917 E. Myrtle St. is titled “Easter Sunday: Light Returns.”
Little is a resident of Sequim and is a licensed and ordained Unity minister.
A time for silent meditation will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Child care is available during the service.
Resurrection
SEQUIM — A musical program celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ is set for 4 p.m. Saturday.
The public is invited to come sing or listen at the free event at the Sequim Seventh-day Adventist Church, 30 Sanford Lane.

Chorus meeting
SEQUIM — The Olympic Peninsula Men’s Chorus announced that it has relocated to the Sunland Golf & Country Club.
Effective Tuesday, the chorus will continue to hold its weekly Tuesday meetings at the club at 109 Hilltop Road until further notice.
The chorus’ 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. meetings are free and open to the public.
