PORT TOWNSEND — One person was transported to a hospital following a collision at state Highway 20 and Four Corners Road south of Port Townsend.
Allen E. Fox, 68, of Port Townsend was taken to Jefferson Healthcare following the collision at 4:53 p.m. Friday, the State Patrol said.
Daniel B. Rosenberg, 32, of Port Townsend was stopped westbound at Four Corners Road in a 2007 Kia Rondo. Fox, who was driving a 2021 Toyota Highlander, was traveling eastbound on Highway 20.
Fox used the vehicle’s car horn, but Rosenberg failed to yield and the Toyota collided with the Kia, the State Patrol said.
Both vehicles came to rest in the eastbound lane of Highway 20, the State Patrol said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Drugs or alcohol were not involved, the State Patrol said.
Both vehicles were totally destroyed and towed from the scene, the State Patrol said.
