PORT HADLOCK — A man died in a trailer fire in Port Hadlock.
East Jefferson Fire Rescue crews responded about 1:30 p.m. Thursday to the fire, which was reported in the 200 block of Third Street.
Navy Region also responded with an engine crew.
When they arrived, crews found a trailer home fully involved with flames and smoke coming from the front and side of the home, according East Jefferson Fire Rescue (EJFR).
Crews quickly deployed a hose and knocked down the fire.
During a search, crews found a deceased adult male. Two pets also were found deceased in the trailer.
Another person was treated for minor burns and released from the scene.
The fire is under investigation by Jefferson County Fire Marshall Phil Cecere.
