PORT ANGELES — Work crews from the city of Port Angeles will perform maintenance and repair work on a portion of the Olympic Discovery Trail from Monday through Sept. 26.
During that time, the trail will be closed between the Ennis Creek trailhead and the Morse Creek trailhead, the city stated in a press release.
Crews will perform brushing and ditching to ensure the trail is clear of debris and standing water.
Additional work will be performed to prepare for the winter, the city said.
Trail users also can ride Clallam Transit’s Route 30, along U.S. Highway 101, to bypass the closure. All Clallam Transit buses have bike racks.
