Clallam County

County commission

Clallam County commissioners will conduct a continued hearing on a fireworks chapter in the county code when they meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Sequim city

Public Utility District

Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners will discuss the agency’s expulsion from the Public Power Council based in Portland, Ore., when they meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

The Public Power Council (PPC) took the action because of concerns that a PUD representative has not respected PPC’s expectations of confidentiality and nondisclosure, which led to protesters gathering for the PPC’s March board meeting, according to a letter from the PPC.

Commissioners also will consider approving excess capacity internet network access charges.

Clallam Conservation District

Clallam Conservation District commissioners will consider a draft information policy when they meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
