PORT TOWNSEND — Mark Rose of Brinnon sought redress Monday for a dozen grievances he brought before Jefferson County commissioners concerning the Brinnon Sub-Area Plan, its authors, several county planning commission members and county Commissioner Dan Titterness, R-Port Townsend.
During a 2½-hour session, Rose laid out why he believes commissioners violated state and federal laws referred to in their contract with the state Office of Community Development.
The state office provided a $25,000 pass-through federal grant to pay for a consultant to work with the Brinnon planning group on the document.
County commissioners have 30 days to rule on Rose’s grievances.
