Harnessing the water rushing between Indian and Marrowstone islands could light up homes from Port Ludlow to Port Townsend.
Representatives of Blue Energy Canada will talk about that possibility Wednesday when they brief Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners on their tidal-powered generators. Commissioners meet at 5 p.m. at the Chimacum Grange, 9572 Rhododendron Drive (state Route 19), Chimacum.
The Vancouver, British Columbia, company is the same company that’s talking about using tidal generators in the construction of a second Tacoma Narrows Bridge.
