PORT TOWNSEND — Who knows? A future Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman or Jennifer Lopez could have been in line Wednesday.
Hundreds of people queued for a casting call for extras to appear in the Lopez movie “Enough,” which will use Port Townsend as a backdrop for filming next month.
The line built outside the Pope Marine Park Building downtown.
Hopefuls were there to submit publicity head shots and acting résumés to be considered for “Enough,” which will be partially filmed in Port Townsend on June 13-19.
Showbiz arrived in other forms as well — news crews from four Seattle television stations rolled up to interview starstruck hopefuls.
But very few of the hopefuls interviewed seemed starstruck.
A few teen-age boys and girls said they wanted to be in a film with Lopez, but the adults interviewed said who was in the film didn’t matter to them.
