Leif Bishop, 9, and his father Jason Bishop are taken aback by a scary prop at Spirit Halloween’s entrance, which suddenly pulls up its mask to a scary sound. The seasonal store has opened at 1940 E. First St. in Port Angeles Plaza in the former Big Lots location.
Spirit Halloween has been in Sequim for the past four years, but it migrated to Port Angeles this year. The chain store has more than 1,400 locations across North America this time of year. It sells costumes, decorations, props and accessories during the Halloween season. Store hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day through Halloween. It closes at 9 p.m. on Sundays.
