PORT ANGELES — Dry Creek Elementary School will host a free screening of the film “Resilience: The Biology of Stress & The Science of Hope” from 5:30 p.m. to 7:40 p.m. Thursday, April 18.
The film will be shown at the school which is located at 25 Rife Road.
The 2016 documentary explores the use of brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction and disease.
A family dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. followed by the film at 6 p.m.
After the movie there will be professionally supported breakout groups to discuss the film.
Free childcare will be available for children aged 4 and younger, and activities for children aged 5 to 12 years will be available during the film.
