Forks High School will send 24 students to the national Family, Career and Community Leaders of America conference on July 7 and 8 in Anaheim, Calif.
The organization teaches leadership, public speaking and organizational skills to high school students, said Rachel Bennett, group adviser.
Senior and junior parliamentary procedure teams will plan and conduct formal business meetings during the competition. Their actions will be timed and judged by a panel of their peers and professionals, Bennett said.
Other FCCLA members will showcase the chapter’s activities, displaying photographs and other memorabilia on a display board and speaking about the group’s projects during the past year.
