Meetings across the North Olympic Peninsula

Budget workshops, developmental disabilities funding and utility rates will be before Peninsula boards and commissions next week.

Clallam County Commissioners

The three Clallam County commissioners will review recommendations from the Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee for proposals for 2026-2027 developmental disabilities funding during their weekly work session Monday and their weekly business meeting Tuesday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which will start at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The commissioners will conduct budget discussions with the county administrator and various department heads during special meetings on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The board also will discuss a collective bargaining agreement in executive session during a special meeting at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

• A call for a public hearing at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 4 regarding a proposed $260,000 Opportunity Fund grant for upgrades to the city of Forks’ industrial park.

• A call for a public hearing at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 10 regarding proposed changes to Clallam County Code Title 33 Zoning and Title 21 Building and Construction, specifically related to RVs and park model placement.

• Agreement with the state Department of Ecology for $252,000 to fund the Clallam County Marine Resources Committee.

• An interlocal agreement with the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe to provide high resolution topo-bathymetric data for the 209-mile coastline of Clallam County.
