Clallam County Commissioners

The three Clallam County commissioners will consider a letter to the Commissioner of Public Lands urging that he allow all paused timber sales in Clallam County to move forward during their weekly work session Monday and their weekly business meeting Tuesday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

• An amended agreement with the state Department of Transportation for $1,117,530 in federal funding to resurface Old Olympic Highway.

• A resolution appointing Kami Rosser as deputy clerk of the board of county commissioners.

• An agreement with the state Department of Ecology for $70,041 to reimburse the Sheriff’s Office for staffing, fuel, dump fees and supplies used by the jail’s CREW program.

• An agreement with the state Military Department and State 911 for $67,666 in pass-through funding to operate PenCom Dispatch.

• An agreement with the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs for $1,624,669 to provide field response services for people with mental health issues for two years.

• A memorandum of understanding among the North Olympic Peninsula Recompete Coalition for various Recompete projects.
