Government meetings across Jefferson County

The three Jefferson County commissioners will continue deliberation on new precinct boundaries when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.

The commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Allison Berry, regional health officer, at 9:45 a.m.; discuss bids for the official county newspaper; and continue discuss on the fireworks and sky lantern ordinance.

Items on the consent agenda include a resolution for a hearing on the community development block grant, an agreement with Van Allen Surveying for $20,600 to survey a new segment of the Olympic Discovery Trail and an agreement with Nordland Construction NW for $1,740,021 for Culvert replacement under Thorndyke Road

Assoc. of counties

The Washington State Association of Counties will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 when they meet at noon Monday.

Both Clallam and Jefferson counties will participate.

Board of Health

The board of health will discuss the transition of COVID-19 response to the endemic phase when it meet at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Utility District

Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will consider an updated contract with the Port of Port Townsend to operate the water and sewer system at Herb Beck Marina in Quilcene at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The district’s Citizens Advisory Board will meet 2 p.m. Monday.
