EYE ON JEFFERSON: Board of Health to consider masking directive

The Jefferson County Board of Health will discuss revisions to the county’s masking directive when they meet at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Public Infrastructure

The Jefferson County Public Infrastructure Fund Board will meet in a special session at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

This meeting was rescheduled from June 9 due to technical difficulties with the meeting links.

The board will hear updates on 2019 grant projects including Water Street telecom infrastructure, the Quilcene water tank, Quilcene complete streets/Center Road sidewalk improvements, Point Hudson jetty renovation and the Rainier Street regional stormwater facility.

Port Townsend city

The Port Townsend City Council will consider authorizing the city manager to accept coronavirus recovery funding during a special business meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

The Quilcene School Board will hear a capital levy update when it meets at 6 p.m. Monday.

The board will discuss the annual program evaluation report, a preliminary budget overview and consider several curricula for approval.

Port Townsend schools

The Port Townsend School Board will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

East Jefferson Fire-Rescue commissioners will discuss a long-term interlocal agreement with Port Ludlow Fire Rescue during a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The fire commissioners also will discuss duty chief compensation and hear updates on Station 1-2 and the strategic plan.

Fire District 3

Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners will discuss the reorganization plan at a regular meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
