Clallam County commissioners will hear a briefing on the proposed Shoreline Master Program update when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.
The work session will be in the commissioners’ boardroom (160) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Other discussion items on the agenda include:
• An update on the Elwha water facility.
• A letter to the National Park Service regarding a proposed fee increase.
• A briefing on a draft marine spatial plan.
• An agreement with Children’s Home Society of Washington for Parents for Parents services.
• A resolution establishing a government equipment rental schedule for 2018.
• An agreement with Harper-Ridgeview Funeral Chapel for disposition of the remains of indigent persons.
There will be no business meeting of the Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday. Commissioners are scheduled to attend a Washington State Association of Counties conference in Seattle from Tuesday through Friday.
The board will vote on the following action items as part of their Monday work session:
• Notice of proposed levies for the general purpose property tax and the road fund property tax will be adopted Nov. 28.
• Notice that supplemental appropriations and a budget reduction will be adopted Nov. 28.
• A call for Nov. 28 hearing for consideration of debatable budget emergencies.
Sequim City Council
The Sequim City Council will conduct a public hearing and consider approval of the Willow Creek Preliminary Major Subdivision when it meets at 5 p.m. Monday.
The council will meet at the Sequim Civic Center, 152 W. Cedar St.
City staff is urging approval of the subdivision without n amendment recommended by the city planning commission. The amendment would require the building of a second access to the subdivision that does not not use Broadmoor Street.
The public hearing will follow a work session concerning property tax, public records and the Olympic Bicycle Alliance.
The council also will consider a property tax levy of 1 percent and adopting 2018 rates and fees.
Also on the agenda:
• Petition to the State Parks Commission concerning the Olympic Discovery Trail.
• An update on the low income utility rate relief program.
• An agreement for a conditional contribution to pickleball courts at Carrie Blake Park.
Forks City Council
The Forks City Council will conduct a hearing on the 2018 budget when it meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
The council will meet at City Hall, 500 E. Division St.
It will consider a 1 percent property tax levy and set a hearing date for an ordinance for vacation rentals.
Clallam PUD
Clallam County Public Utility District board members will consider establishing a 10-year energy savings potential and two-year energy savings target for Energy Independence Act compliance at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in the Lake Crescent Boardroom at the Carlsborg main office at 104 Hooker Road.
Other agenda items include a completed contract with National Metering & Technical Services for a temporary journey level meterman.
Olympic Medical Center
Olympic Medical Center commissioners will consider a 1 percent increase in the tax levy and adopting the 2018 budget when they meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Commissioners will meet in in Linkletter Hall in the basement of the hospital at 939 E. Caroline St., Port Angeles.
They also will discuss the 2018-20 strategic plan and a community needs assessment.
Peninsula College
Peninsula College trustees will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
They will meet in the Cornaby Center on the Peninsula College Port Angeles campus at 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
The trustees will hear standing reports and consider items for board study and action.

Clallam Conservation District
The Clallam Conservation District board members will discuss long-range planning at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in Suite H at Armory Square, 228 W. First St., Port Angeles.
Other agenda items include an update on bookkeeper/administrative assistance recruitment, questions for regional conservation partnership program project rankings, grant applications and cooperator and cost-share agreements.
Planning commission
The Clallam County Planning Commission will hold a work session on proposed zoning amendments at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be in Room 160 at the Clallam County Courthouse.
The proposed amendments include exemptions for land divisions, street standards, commercial storage and minor text changes.
Port Angeles parks
The Port Angeles Parks, Recreation and Beautification Commission will discuss bylaws and review a revenue and expenditure report at 6 p.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be in City Council chambers at City Hall, 321 E. Fifth St.
