The three Clallam County commissioners will consider an agreement with North Olympic Peninsula Resource Conservation and Development Council concerning broadband during their weekly work session Monday and weekly business meeting Tuesday.

Clallam County is a member of the Broadband Action Team along with Port Angeles,Sequim and Forks, NODC, Port of Port Angeles, Clallam Public Utility District, local tribal nations and other entities in the county.
Funds have been received for two broadband grants totaling $24 million dollars to expand broadband along Highway 101/Highway 112 through Joyce.
The agreement with the council will be for $1,200 per month for 20 hours per month to facilitate work on the project.
Commissioners also will consider sending letters to four tribes seeking input on a proposed location of a Joint Public Safety Facility
In addition, they will consider appointing new members to several volunteer boards and commissions.
The work session will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

• An agreement with the Department of Commerce for $392,000 for Health and Human Services for the hotel leasing and rapid re-housing program.
• A call for a public hearing on proposed fee changes at the county fairgrounds to be conducted March 29.
• A discussion with John Simpson, of Quileute Tribe Public Works regarding the possible transfer to the Ballard Pit to the Quileute Tribe.
• A discussion about a request from the North Olympic Development Council for a one-time allocation of $25,000.
