KALALOCH — Work crews have begun emergency repairs to U.S. Highway 101 near Kalaloch Campground.
The southbound lane has been closed due to failure of a culvert and roadside erosion since late March, the state Department of Transportation said.
Drivers can expect continued alternating single-lane traffic controlled by a temporary traffic light at milepost 158 until the repairs are completed.
Brumfield Construction, Inc., is expected to complete the project in about two weeks at an estimated cost of $671,000, WSDOT said.
