BLYN — Maintenance workers from the state Department of Transportation will be clearing tree limbs and brush along U.S. Highway 101 near Blyn from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Large brush mowers will work in both directions on Monday on the highway between Dean Creek and Zaccardo Road, according to a WSDOT press release. Drivers can expect intermittent slowdowns and congestion approaching the work zone.
Crews will remove low-hanging tree limbs from the road on Tuesday. Drivers can expect delays of up to 15 minutes in both directions as flaggers direct alternating one-way traffic at Jimmycomelately Creek.
Crews will return to the section of the highway between Dean Creek and Zaccardo Road on Wednesday and Thursday to cut brush along the shoulder of the highway.
