JOYCE — The Crescent School Board has appointed Ann Renker interim superintendent to serve during Superintendent David Bingham’s medical leave.
The school board conducted a special meeting Thursday. Bingham’s leave is anticipated to last until Dec. 1.
Renker will be on campus two days a week during the part-time position and work remotely one day a week.
She is a former assistant superintendent for the Sequim School District and worked for the Cape Flattery School District for 20 years.
The board will conduct a special meeting at 8 a.m. Monday to approve a contract with Renker at the Crescent School Library, 50350 state Highway 112.
Renker’s first day on campus will be Aug. 19. Classes start Aug. 27.
