Fees for some facilities at Clallam County parks would increase in an ordinance that will undergo a public hearing April 19.
The fees will continue to favor Clallam County residents and youth groups.
The increases will keep up with costs, said Craig Jacobs, county public works director, and incorporate new fees for recreational vehicle hookups and for the improved picnic shelter at Salt Creek Recreation Area.
They also will be adjusted to include sales and use taxes, he said.
Unless citizen testimony at the hearing influences commissioners to do otherwise, the board will adopt the new fees that day.
A full schedule of fees for parks and the Clallam County Fairgrounds appears in Monday’s Clallam County edition.
