PORT ANGELES — James Jones, director of business and operations for Port Angeles schools, is among three finalists for the job of Clallam County administrator.
Jones, 52, has served the school district since 1997. He previously spent 17 years at First Federal Savings & Loan Association, where he was a vice president, controller and public information officer.
The other finalists are Richard Nelson, city administrator for North Ogden, Utah, and Edward Williams, who until eight months ago was administrator for Reno County in Kansas.
County commissioners plan to introduce the three men at a public reception from 4 to 6 p.m. April 27 in the Clallam County Courthouse.
