Clallam commissioners divvy up their advisory assignments

PORT ANGELES — Clallam County commissioners have divided up their duties in serving on, or acting as liaison to, various state and local advisory boards and commissions.

All three commissioners will serve on the county Board of Health, the Clallam County Finance Committee, the Olympic Area Agency on Aging, the Housing Solutions Committee and as members of the Washington State Association of Counties.

Here are individual assignments:

Mark Ozias is serving on Behavioral Health Advisory Board, Canvassing Board, Clallam Transit System, Housing Solutions Committee (Alternate), Law Library Board of Trustees, Lodging Tax Advisory Committee, Clallam County Marine Resources Committee, North Olympic Development Council, Olympic Consortium Board (Alternate), Salish Behavioral Health Associated Services Organization, Sequim Chamber of Commerce Ex-officio member, Solid Waste Advisory Committee, Tribal Liaison — Jamestown S’Klallam, Washington State Association of Counties — Legislative Steering Committee, Washington State Association of Counties — Board of Directors.

Randy Johnson is serving on Clallam County Disability Board, Clallam Transit System (Alternate), Conservation Futures Program Advisory Board, Economic Development Council Board, Heritage Advisory Board, Homelessness Task Force, Housing Solutions Committee, Law and Justice Council, Lodging Tax Advisory Committee, Noxious Weed Control Board, Olympic Consortium Board, Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (Alternate), Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Salish Behavioral Health Associated Services Organization (Alternate), Veterans’ Affairs Liaíson, Washington Timber Counties Caucus, William Shore Memorial Pool District.

Mike French is serving on the Canvassing Board (Alternate), Clallam Bay/Sekiu Chamber of Commerce Liaison, Clallam Bay-Sekiu Community Action Team, Clallam Bay/Sekiu Sewer Advisory Committee, Clallam Transit System, Crescent Community Advisory Council, Developmental Disability Advisory Committee, Forks Chamber of Commerce Liaison, Housing Solutions Committee (Alternate), Neah Bay Chamber of Commerce Liaison, Olympic Area Agency on Aging (Alternate), Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council, Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP), Olympic Region Clean Air Agency, Peninsula Regional Transportation Planning Organization, Trails Advisory Committee, Tribal Liaison — Lower Elwha/Quileute/Makah, Veterans’ Affairs Liaison (Alternate), William Shore Memorial Pool District.
