Chimacum: Casino official says stolen band money apparently not gambled in Blyn

CHIMACUM — High school band teacher David Ralph Jones may not have gambled away $4,000 in student band money at 7 Cedars Casino in Blyn as he claims.

“We’ve gone through our records, and we have absolutely no record of the gentleman being in the casino” in mid-August, Assistant General Manager Jerry Allen said Friday.

Jones will be officially charged with first-degree theft in Jefferson County Superior Court on Tuesday for allegedly stealing $4,000 from his band students’ travel fund.
