NEAH BAY — Travelers on state Highway 112 between Neah Bay and Sekiu will want to add more travel time to help prevent delays.
Drivers will see around-the-clock, one-way alternating traffic at milepost 5.5 at Jansen Creek, the state Department of Transportation said Monday.
Drivers during daytime hours will see occasional 30-minute traffic stops at a time. The stops will allow trucks to exit and enter the work zones, WSDOT said.
The work is related to efforts to make embankment repairs at three locations between milepost 2 and milepost 5.6.
The other two work zones are at milepost 2 and between mileposts 4.6 and 4.7 at Rasmussen Creek.
Travelers will see a temporary signal alternate traffic at no more than two of these sites at a time, WSDOT said.
The repair work will take about five weeks to complete, the agency added.
Travelers can receive email updates about roadwork on state highways in Clallam and Jefferson counties. Real-time information is available via the WSDOT app and WSDOT Travel Center Map.
