On the heels of her 65th birthday, Michelle Pfieffer has taken a simplified approach to her beauty routine. Though she’s obviously still as gorgeous as ever, the Scarface actress has pared back her signature ’80s bombshell glamour in place of a fresh, no-makeup makeup look. And if we’ve learnt anything from Miranda Kerr (another expert in barely-there glam) natural makeup is best executed with the help of a creamy, flushed cheek.
In Michelle’s case, this comes in the form of a MECCA best-seller.
What is Michelle Pfieffer’s go-to blush?
If you’ve been following Michelle’s beauty journey over the past few years, you might’ve come across her passion for anything and everything clean beauty.

“My small arsenal of go-to products has definitely evolved over the years as beauty brands become more transparent with their formulas and I simultaneously become more informed about ingredient safety,” she told Mind Body Green.
It’s been this evolving journey that led Michelle to the botanically-powered and conscious brand, Westman Atelier. More specifically, the Baby Cheeks Blush ($80, MECCA).

During an Instagram video, Michelle referred to the cream blush as “one of her all-time favourites.” Enriched with organic jojoba oil, the buildable and buttery consistency has proved to be a favourite for mature skin.

NYX Professional Makeup Sweet Cheeks Soft Cheek Tint

“This product has a great consistency and pleasant scent which is nice, it’s not overwhelming! I’ve used liquid/cream blushes that actually remove my foundation when im blending it out. This blends out almost like a mousse. Really a fan of this blush. It even shows once you’ve set your face with powder.” – Stinasbeauty

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge

“What surprises about this creamy formula was it’s staying power. I’ll apply it on my cheeks early in the morning, and it’ll still be on by the end of the day. I also love how it gives my cheeks a natural flush.” – Tina Tek

Do you use a cream blush in your routine? If so, which is your favourite?
That blush sounds lovely, anything with jojoba oil is a winner for me
A wee bit too pricey for me but looks really good. I rarely wear MU these days and couldn’t justify $80
Too much for my budget too. 🙁
Yes outside my budget but I loved the hint in BH about using a lipstick to achieve a nice creamy blush if you need it.
Oh my goodness, has she aged in the last 30 years? She looks amazing!
Ooo that Westman Atelier blush does sound like a good one.
love this article about michelle and her fave blush product!
An $80 blush! OMG! I do like cream blush, but not at that price.
I agree $80 seems a bit over the top.
I used to have a cream blush but changed brands and have a powder now, I’m going to buy the cream in the range because I do prefer cream
I loved her performance on Murder on the Orient Express. Talented and beautiful.
cream blushes are new to me are they good?
$80 for a blush is alot htough
bit too pricy but very beautiful
the blush sounds great put too pricy, prefer the nyx cream blush for a quarter of the price
There is no blush in my makeup bag.Not using it.
2023 the year of blush and cream products hey!
Bobbi B one looks inviting
I love a cream blush, but often hack it recently with my lippies.
Need to try this.
I want to start using more cream blushes
It looks like such a pretty blush.
I would love to use a cream blush in my routine more and great ones here.
The WA blushes don’t have a lot of pigment but they give a nice dewy glow.
She looks haggard in that second photo
Michelle is lovely
Michelle is still so gorgeous. Doesn’t she age? I love cream blushes and everytime I find a new one and stick with it, off it disappears on the market. I only pay under $40 for mine so anything over $60 is a no no for me.
Bit pricey for a blush
I use a cream blush (or a lipstick) but I certainly wouldn’t pay anything like $80. I’m currently using DB Cosmetics which I love.
I agree that lighter makeup is often better when you’re older, especially for everyday wear.
Sounds great
Sounds great, very easy to use
I use my lipstick as a blush. It works for me.
Ive never used a cream blush before I find them a bit sticky
Looks like a lovely shade and brand
Oh i must try oe of these
