Revolution Jelly Blush Stick Lip & Cheek Stain in ‘Strawberry Pink’
Dupe for: Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tint in ‘Burst’ ($44 from Sephora)

To say we were confused when Milk Makeup first launched their Jelly Tint blush range would be an understatement. But after we established it was just a less messy way to sneak a lip and cheek tint into our makeup routines we were fully on board. If you’ve been wanting to try the trendy product after seeing it on TikTok but can’t quite justify spending $44, may we suggest this $16 option from Revolution instead?

Natio Radiant Cloud Liquid Blush
Dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand in ‘Pinkgasm’ ($60 from Charlotte Tilbury)

Charlotte Tilbury’s Beauty Light Wand in ‘Pinkgasm’ is one of the brand’s best sellers because it has effortlessly combined the subtle glow of a liquid highlighter and the natural flush of a rose coloured blush. However if you can’t abide by a $60 price tag every time you nee a refill, may we suggest looking closer to home for a solution? This newcomer from Natio offers a beautiful pink shimmer finish that glistens on the skin, creating a sun-kissed look we usually have to wait for the warmer months to sport.

No one will ever tear us from our eyeshadow sticks, they’re the simplest solution for easy eye makeup you can apply and blend in just a few seconds. Revlon Illuminance™ Balm Primer
Dupe for: Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base ($104 from MECCA)

Bobbi Brown’s Face Base is a favourite of makeup artists because the hydrating formula smooths over texture, and promotes a plump, hydrated complexion for hours after it’s been applied. However, we’ve watched it’s price tag steadily climb over the years, and now at $104 a jar, we’ve decided we need to find affordable alternatives. And that’s where this multi-purpose primer and moisturiser from Revlon comes in.
$35.95 from Priceline
Essence 8H Matte Comfort Lipliner in ‘Cushion Talk’
Dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in ‘Pillow Talk’ ($38 from Charlotte Tilbury)

At first glance we were unsure that this affordable lip liner from Essence was in fact a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury’s cult favourite Pillow Talk, but after swatching the two side by side, it’s clear that we have a doppelganger in our midst. As if the shade name ‘Cushion Talk’ wasn’t a dead giveaway…
$3.50 from Priceline
Essence What A Tint! Lip & Cheek Tint in ‘Kiss From A Rose’
Dupe for: Benefit Benetint ($42 from Benefit)

Benetint has been a best-seller since it’s inception in the early ’00s. As a result, brand’s are doing their best to copy the viral product’s long-lasting tint and natural rosy for themselves. Essence we’re looking at you.

Essence Jelly Grip Hydrating Primer
Dupe for: Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer ($69 from Sephora)

Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Primer is one of the brand’s best-selling products for a good reason. This innovative thinking has clearly inspired Essence, because the affordable brand has delivered a dupe that’s almost identical to the original.

Essence Brow Lifting Gel Set
Dupe for: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze ($41 from MECCA)

Laminated brows are still very much in, which is why we’re so thankful Essence has finally created a product that emulates the lifted brow look that we get from Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Brow Freeze. All for less than $8 a pot too — what’s not to love?

Revlon Illuminance™ Glow Primer
Dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow Primer ($76 from Charlotte Tilbury)

Charlotte Tilbury is the queen of glow and her OG Wonder Glow Primer is a testament to the makeup artist’s commitment to radiance. If you’re after a product that offers a similar lit-from-within glow without the hefty pricetag, you can’t go past Revlon’s new Illuminance Glow Primer. The finish is a bit more natural than the product it’s inspired by, but honestly, that’s why we like it so much.

Burts Bees Tinted Lip Balm in ‘Red Dahlia’
Dupe for: Clinique Almost Lipstick in ‘Black Honey’ ($48 from Clinique)

Clinique’s Black Honey lipstick has been a sell out for years for good reason, the ‘your lips but better’ shade flatters most skin tones. Plus, it can be layered for a more intense finish — sounds like the perfect day to night lip colour. However, you might be surprised to discover that Burt’s Bees has created a tinted lip balm shade that goes toe to toe with the luxury lip product.

e.l.f Camo Liquid Bronzer & Contour
Dupe for: Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Contour ($50 from Sephora)

Rare Beauty fans waited in anticipation for the release of the brand’s Soft Pinch Liquid Contour, and not too soon after it’s successful launch (read: it’s just as good as we all hoped) e.l.f threw their hat in the ring with this affordable alternative. Surprisingly, it’s the almost perfect shade matches that impressed us the most — Rare Beauty offers a good range of cool and warm undertones across the range, which is often hard to emulate.

e.l.f Halo Glow Powder Filter Pressed Powder
Dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Pressed Powder ($73 from Charlotte Tilbury)

Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Pressed Powder has pride of place in our makeup bags, however that doesn’t mean we’re completely turned off on the idea of a cheaper option. Introducing the pressed powder companion to e.l.f’s Halo Glow Liquid Filter (another Charlotte Tilbury dupe, which has also made this list). If you love the lit from within glow of the liquid formula, you’ll certainly appreciate the airbrushed, yet luminous finish of it’s powder counterpart. Although, that radiance does mean it’s not a perfect match for Charlotte’s matte predecessor, it does offer equal amounts of coverage and a flawless finish.
$29 from Priceline
e.l.f Glow Reviver Glimmer Lip Oil
Dupe for: Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($38 from Sephora)

Fenty Beauty’s Gloss Bomb is a bonafide classic, which is why we knew instantly we had a dupe on our hands when we laid eyes on this impersonator. We could get mad about it, but honestly we wouldn’t be curating this list if we had issues with bargain hunting. The budget-friendly brand has made dupes of our favourite shades of Gloss Bomb too, like $weet Mouth, RiRi, Hot Chocolit, Fu$$y and Fenty Glow.

Essence Baby Got Blush in ‘Cherry Cherry Baby’
Dupe for: Rhode Skin Pocket Blush in ‘Toasted Teddy (unavailable in Australia)

We’ve spent months pining after the Rhode Pocket Blushes since their debut in June of 2024, so much so, that we’ve made looking for a dupe available in Australia our full-time job. After extensive research we’ve discovered that Merit Beauty’s Flush Balm ($48 from Merit Beauty) is a near perfect match, but we’ve also found that this affordable pick from Essence does the trick when we’re trying to pinch pennies.

Revlon Illuminance Serum Concealer
Dupe for: Kosas Revealer Concealer ($52 from MECCA)

After trying Kosas’ Revealer Concealer we officially said goodbye to heavy, full coverage concealers, but we also unintentionally said sayonara to a huge wad of cash every few months. Thankfully, Revlon’s newest serum concealer has given our wallet’s a well-deserved break, and to be perfectly honest, we think we actually prefer the budget-friendly formula over the exxier option anyway.
$29.95 from Priceline
Revolution Mood Switch Aura Blush in ‘Universal Pink’
Dupe for: Dior Rosy Glow Blush ($72 from Sephora)

Dior’s Rosy Glow Blush will never go out of style, but we do love the option of a more affordable alternative when we hit pan. e.l.f Halo Glow Liquid Filter
Dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter ($70 from Charlotte Tilbury)

If you ask any TikToker what the best Flawless Filter dupe is, almost all of them are guaranteed to say the e.l.f Halo Glow Liquid Filter. Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara
Dupe for: Glossier Boy Brow ($41 from Glossier)

We’ve been loving the Essense Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel as the perfect Glossier Boy Brow dupe. The tinted gel holds brow hairs in place all day long to deliver a fluffy, natural-looking finish. The best part? It costs as much as your daily coffee and a little goes a long way.

Australis Lip Glaze
Dupe for: Dior Lip Glow Oil ($64 from David Jones)

Potentially the most hyped product on the planet, the Dior Lip Glow Oil has maintained its cult status. But the Australis Lip Glaze is here to dethrone the luxury lip oil and become your new handbag staple in the process. Spiked with hyaluronic acid and peptides, the gloss-oil hybrid instantly plumps and hydrates, while it coats your pout in the most gorgeous tinted glaze. And, just like its Dior counterpart, the Lip Glaze features a large fluffy applicator to ensure seamless application and a juicy finish.

Revlon Colorstay Suede Ink Lipstick in ‘Gut Instinct’
Dupe for: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in ‘Pillow Talk’ ($54 from Charlotte Tilbury)

The ever-iconic Pillow Talk Matte Lipstick always seems to make an appearance on every red carpet – and every best lipstick round-up. But that’s because no other lipstick could compete with the creamy, long-lasting matte formula… until now. Revlon’s Colorstay Suede Ink Lipstick in ‘Gut Instict’ is the perfect shade match and will convert even the most loyal lip gloss lovers into matte lip stans. The velvety formula glides on like a dream, with eight-hour coverage that won’t flake or cake.
“The formulation of this lipstick is very impressive. Although the finish is matte, it does not leave my lips feeling dry, rather it does not even feel like I am wearing anything at all… it does not budge from my lips easily and the long-stay was fairly decent before it started to fade a little.” – ethelindie

Barry M Colour Changing Gel Blush
Dupe for: Espressoh Glassy Blush By The Glass ($71 from Sephora)

Although a ph-adaptive blush may sound like a novelty makeup item, we can assure you it’s not. Espressoh’s hydrating, glass skin inspired blush offers skin a vibrant flush and a lit from within glow, which we thought was unmatchable, until we tried Barry M’s budget-friendly version.

MP Cosmetics Buffing Brush
Dupe for: Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Brush ($80 from MECCA)

Have you tried any of these luxury makeup dupes?
Would like to be checking out “Gut Instinct” by Revlon next time I’m in the shops, and I’m loving Revlon’s illuminance range and that primer + moisturiser is so on my list.
My goodness – some serious cost saving products here. Interesting to say the least.
Yes it pays to look around
Essense is a great, affordable brand, nice to see it featured here a few times.
I love their Princess False Lash mascara too!
Essence, Elf and Millani products are awesome quality for the price. I have a couple of Elf eye shadow palettes and love them.
Essence has come a long way and they are good. Not recently, but in the past I have tried a few of their products and was quite impressed. I also feel MCOBeauty dupes are quite good.
Now I definitely have to go check out the Revlon primer and Essence lip liner!
Priceline has a great range for all budgets.
I love great affordable prices, but Charlotte Tilbury is the best, their formulas are amazing and long lasting.
Thank you, i will definitely have a look at Priceline after reading, especially interested in the Revlon lipstick (have not used the brands for decades!) Please Beautyheaven, can we stop trying to sound American – using “drugstore” in place of “pharmacy”?. This is the preferred term in Australia. We have never had “drugstores”. Earlier they were just called the chemist shop.
Thank you. I was wanting to mention this too. We are not American
Essence is good and affordable.
I’ve used some of the Essence products which I really like. I think I’ll have to try Elf next.
You could still spend a fortune
Wow! Priceline (owned by Wesfarmers) are really giving Chemist Warehouse a shake up with these prices. I’ll be definitely checking these out and using my loyalty card.
Some of these are way too pink for my complexion, Burts bees Red Dahlia is much more suitable
I haven’t tried any.
Lots of great options here – I think I’ve already said that the Revlon Illuminance range is great.
