I haven't bought a palette in a long time. I have been looking around for one but most of them are either Made in China or are on the exy side.
I’ve got the MAC Amber Times Nine, and I’m not totally in love with it. I haven’t used it for ages. I’ve got a couple of Bobbi Brown palettes that I won from Beautyheaven and they are just divine! Absolutely gorgeous! The colours are very pigmented and long wearing. Expensive but worth the extra cash. I love the colours in the Models Prefer Rose Nude Palette, but I wonder what the quality would be like? I’ve never used anything from that brand.
These all look so exciting & fun!
The Lancome Hypnose palette – oh my, yessssss pleeeeease ❤❤❤
The Lancome is to die for! The packaging, the colours…drool worthy.
I have tried the Maybelline Burgundy bar but didn't like it too much, my fav ones are ABH Modern Renaissance and Bellapierre Brown Eyed Girl
I love Bobbi Brown too! I have some of their smaller palettes.
The colours are beautiful but I can’t see myself wearing them anytime soon given there are no events coming up.
These palettes are so beautiful! I wouldn’t want to use it so I could keep it pretty.
Oooh one I got is Bobby brown in cool tones, not one pictured (grey, griege, blue/grey/nude insanely beautiful shade…anyways) looove! As is have grey eyes and it is perfection for my colouring
I love the Lancome one. yes please. I love colour.
I won the Maybelline in the Glosscars prize pack back in 2018. I haven’t reviewed it yet as I haven’t really used it that much, I’m trying to get through some other palettes I have. I’d love to own some higher end stuff like ABH or Huda but again, I have too many other ones.
So many gorgeous palettes it’s hard to choose!
This reminds me I haven't worn eyeshadows in a long time. Before covid hit I used to apply eyeshadows everyday at work. I only used it last month for a glamour event , I might have to explore out all my daytime eyeshadows again.
I have got the Maybelline Burgundy bar, it is such a versatile palette for me. can use from day to night looks.
Nice selection. I also recommend Flower Beauty eyeshadow palettes, they are creamy and pigmented.
Gone are the days for shimmer eye shadow for me
Really love Revlon ColorStay™ 16 Hour Eye Shadow they are smaller palettes rather than a large one with so many Colours not used.
Just one Question! Can women who are of mature age wear those glittery Eyeshadows.
Mainly I stick with Revlon Eyeshadows that are neutral Colours.
Great tips! I never know where to start when it comes to purchasing eyeshadow, so this article was a great help. Thank you 🙂
The Revlon eyeshadow wow what lovely colours. This would be a lovely present.
I would say Natasha Denona has some good ones too
I have the Revlon (purple shades) and L'Oreal palettes but I don't wear eye shadow very often these days and when I do I prefer a cream eye shadow.
I love eyeshadow palettes and have far too many of them……………my faves are a couple from Urban Decay, Naked Cherry and Nakeds 3.
I have a Revlon one, I don't wear it much though.
I have the L’Oreal palette and it’s really good. I’m more into cream shadows lately though.
I love the colours in the Lancome one.
I've never mastered the art of eye shadow. I go too smokey with my look and it really doesn't work for me
These look interesting and as I get older so my eyebrows get less colour
I have the Loreal and Mac, love them both
It's hard to pick a favourite palette, but probably L'Oréal – not the neutrals, though! Gimme colour! I like purples & burgundies best.
The L'Oreal palette would be my pick for the colours and the shadows look like they are very fine good and good quality.
lovely colours, i like ones that come with brushes
It's the shades of the Mac palette for me!
The Body Shop shimmer cubes, great purchase, they last super long, can add a touch of water for a creamy look.
I haven't tried any of these palettes, but I have way too many to even consider buying anymore
I have the MAC palette 🙂 love their shadows!! Thinking of palettes I’m in the hunt for a nice bronzer for my cheeks any recommendations?
The Burgundy Bar is one of my recent aquisitions, I've had the Rose Nudes palette for a few years now and love it too. I would love to get my hands on the Lancome palette…such unique and beautiful shades. Whilst I don't have the others, I am sure I have dupes in my collection that could replicate the same looks as the others.
Some beautiful palettes to try…
I have tried Loreal one. I would love to try others as they got lovely colours.
Bought The Burgundy Bar Palette a few days ago so still testing it out.
My eyes seemed a little irritated so I have given it a break, not sure if the dyes used in the colours are the problem as I am sensitive to some brands.
Even with my eye primer underneath still seemed to irritate so i hope I dont have to chuck it away.
I must admit I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the actual pallete it is very flimsy compared to others I have purchased.
i have quite alot of eyeshadow palettes so use different ones each day.
I like the L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude Eyeshadow
I really wanted the MAC Amber Times Nine palette.
I’ve got soooo many eyeshadow palettes, I really don’t need anymore. But I really want one of the Hourglass Graphik palettes. Not sure which colour I want yet. If I did get it, I would buy it with birthday vouchers. I’ll think about it……
My favourite and most used palette at the moment is Stila ‘Eyes Are The Window To The Soul’. I’m pretty sure it’s discontinued now (bummer!). It’s beautiful neutral colours, very easy to wear. I bought it from Mecca. It has the cult Stila Kitten in it, which is almost finished. I’ll buy a single with my birthday vouchers.
I love the colours in this one. How’s the quality?
OMG Indie I’ve got sooooooooooo many eyeshadow palettes, I could open my own freaking store! But there’s always just one that you ‘desperately’ need isn’t there.
Some of these palettes look great but there is always one or two colours that I just can't use. I would rather just buy one colour that works for me.
I just wish that companies would make more cool-toned eyeshadow palettes.
I've reported the spam by jasonwong1.
I've used the Burgundy Bar and reviewed above its still not my " go to" as I have loads of pallets and like to switch around, plus some of the colours irritate my eyes. Just been gifted a MAC palette but slightly different colours from picture above.
Love the fact MAC are very pigmented so have to be careful not to overload brushes but so expensive for what they are.
I also have a mini MAC palette and just love some of the pastel shades.
I love Mac eyeshadows
