New office, same compassionate service: Peninsula Behavioral Health now Accepting New Clients in Sequim

New patients invited to explore full suite of counseling and wellness supports

It’s been a year since Peninsula Behavioral Health (PBH) launched their new Sequim facility at 500W Fir St.

In the months since opening their doors, the Sequim-based private rehab center has supported an influx of residents in need of mental health and substance use support.

For the first time since opening, the PBH team is excited to support new patients with a range of services, including:

  • Counseling for individuals, groups and families
  • Therapy addressing anxiety, depression, PTSD and other mental health challenges
  • Tailored treatment options for veterans
  • Outpatient support for substance use disorders and concurrent conditions
  • Immediate assistance in crises, along with consultation and educational resources
  • Psychiatric evaluations and consultations, plus nursing care
  • Comprehensive support for high-needs youth, including peer assistance and coordinated care

Wendy Sisk, PBH CEO, says the acceptance of new patients in Sequim will further help those in need of direct support.

“In our line of work, we see first hand the impact severe anxiety, depression and trauma can have on our patients and their families. Being able to open our doors and further support those in need right now is what we strive for,” Sisk says. “We’re proud of the individual care our support staff place dedicated to each of our patients.”

Serving the public since 1971, PBH’s multi-disciplinary team of mental health experts have become synonymous for their compassionate, professional care – so-much-so that they are now recognized as Clallam’s primary resource for behavioral health.

Last year PBH’s team of more than 150 Staff provided support to over than 3,500 neighbors, including over 900 children.

Supporting a diverse range of patients, their clinical team includes mental health and substance use disorder experts, MDs, nurse practitioners, social workers, counselors, case managers and peer mentors. To maintain the best service possible, PBH recruits, trains and develops professional teams, and as a result, their staff has earned a respected reputation as dedicated, caring professionals within the community.

“PBH has been a part of this community since 1971, out of an abundance of need for behavioral health support. Since then, we’ve really become a part of the core infrastructure of health care here in Clallam County,” Sisk says.

Now accepting new patients at their Sequim office, patients and families in need of support or additional resources can call 360-457-0431 to speak with a registered professional.
