Stocking up at Free Little Pantries

The location is one of 20 Little Free Pantry boxes in the Port Angeles, Sequim and the West End areas, according to a press release. The boxes offer free foodstuffs to any in the community who may be in need. The public is also welcome to add their own food donations to the boxes. The project is a part of the WSU Clallam County Extension agency and is overseen by local Food Access and Waste Prevention Coordinator Benji Astrachan, the release said.

Other locations include:

2610 S. Francis St., 301 E. Lopez, 1134 E. Park Ave., 1140 W. 9th St., 254 N. Bagley Creek Rd., 1422 S. Cedar St., 1236 W. 15th St. and 325 E. 6th St. in Port Angeles.

They are also located at 1033 N. Barr Road in Agnew, 517 W. Fir St. in Sequim, 1371 Marine Dr. in Dungeness, 425 N. Sunnyside Ave. in Sequim, 9090 Old Olympic Highway in Sequim, 1700 Carlsborg Road, 610 N. 5th Ave., 100 S. Blake Ave and 102 Sierra Drive in Agnew.

In the West End, locations are at 111 Taylor St. in Beaver, 81 S. Second Ave. in Forks, 194 S. Elderberry Ave. in Forks, 50724 Highway 112 in Joyce and 92 Chalaat Loop at the Hoh Reservation.
